This is a sign for a hairdressers in Kalkan in Turkey. Perhaps it works. Come to think of it I'm sure I saw George Michael with a mop like that in 1984 - perhaps this is his local barber.

I spotted this number plate in Leicester recently. I was in the city to discuss a project involving BBC Religion and Ethics. Is it a sign??

By the way, I travelled to Leicester by train from York.

I can make the Easy Open bit work but Reclosable is useless. All the sweets have gone long before I can undo the sticky tape thingy to seal up the packet. Even the Blogger spell check doesn't recognise the word "reclosable" Perhaps it's redundant!

Alexander is now home with his Mum and Dad. Nan & Grandad are visiting too, while Grandma and Grandpa (Kingsmill) have just left for their home in Stamford.
Alex is a beauiful little baby and we are very proud of him. He's asleep at the moment - something he seems to do most of tthe time.

The York Mystery plays are performed every four years. The guilds take responsibility for one play - or scene - which performed from a handcart pushed from venue to venue. These pictures were taken in the Museum Gardens.
